→ Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Strategy and Performance Improvement for Wind Energy Solutions

HSE International’s Principal worked with the management team of a leading provider of high technological wind power solutions to define the health, safety, environmental, and quality strategy of the company operations in the Mediterranean region, ensuring that objectives are established and risks and impacts managed through proper identification and implementation of preventative and corrective measures.

Our consultants lead and contribute to key organizational processes and activities to restructure the sustainability organization of the company, and establishing certifiable (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001) and efficient management systems in order to assure set quality, safety and environment standards.

The Mediterranean region of the company has projects and operations in southern countries of Europe (Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Portugal), Latin America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and North and West Africa.

→ Health, Safety and Environmental Program for Renewable Energy Activities

HSE International was contracted by a major integrated oil and gas Company to assess and upgrade the Environmental, Health and Safety program of the Company’s sustainable development operations in the country. The Company’s sustainability operations include the installation of renewable – solar energy to rural and indigenous communities in the Orinoco Delta region.

HSE International reviewed the Company’s EHS program, conducted risk assessments, and conducted a gap assessment against ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and Good International Industry Practices. We carried out site visits to the area to validate information and fill information gaps, developed new procedures including emergency response and communications, and upgraded the EHS program accordingly.

The delivery included a comprehensive Health, Safety and Environmental program for operations, induction material for diverse stakeholders visiting the area, and a capacity building module for training purposes.
